This lightweight pushchair from Ickle Bubba comes with a variety of features that parents will love. It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear facing 3 wheel stroller-facing pushchair seat, and a choice of a car seat, so you can have everything you need in one package.

The XL Air is a really impressive double buggy 3 wheels, and it's easy to understand why it has received so many high marks from its customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to build. In fact I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is amazing considering that it also included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice, wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is easy to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I find it nice that the handle bar features pockets to keep your keys and phone secure.

The only issue is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be an issue for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.

The Runner is designed for active parents who can't wait to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on forest and field paths. The front three wheel pushchairs can be locked and swivels for added versatility. The stroller also comes with 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child secure on all trips. The parking brake keeps the stroller on its feet while you take a rest. The seat can be adjusted to lay down and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a leisurely run, a more strenuous hike, or a long-distance walk. It comes with a lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels for an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks and the stroller folds easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than the ones of competitors and therefore it may not be suitable for parents with shorter arms however, overall it's a sturdy and versatile stroller that's worth a look for families with active children.

The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its simple and well-designed essentials for parents. It's their latest and most expensive addition to their stroller line that is a bargain and lightweight. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat compatible so you can use it from the time of birth.

The new Pace boasts some fantastic design touches such as the rose gold tint of the chassis, hood and stroller trims, which make it stand out from its competition. The car seat and stroller fabrics are stylish in tan, grey and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to match.

It's suitable for babies up to a max weight of 22kg and the stroller seat easily converts from a carrycot to the 2-in-1 reversible mode. It can be facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat features several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extended sun canopy with concealed zip sections with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded in half, the Pace measures 56 32 x 43 cm which means it passes for hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other carriers. It's also simple to fold, thanks to two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side that just need to be pressed in and out. Then, it will pop up.

Bugaboo Fox 5

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt confident using it on busy city streets. One of the advantages is that it has integrated accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a tray for snacks. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. It took around 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.
